The mission of Ohio Parent Mentors is to provide the necessary support and resources to families of children with disabilities and the professionals that serve them.
Ohio Parent Mentor projects are funded through grants from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). All Parent Mentor services are provided to families free of charge.

Special Needs Parent Support
Monthly support group for parents with children who have special needs.

Support, Information and parent-to-parent networking for parents of children with all types of special needs. Meets monthly, on the first* Monday of the month from 7-9:00pm.
* if the first Monday is a Holiday, the meeting will be held the second Monday.

Note from the School Nurse
Student may bring in PECTIN ONLY cough drops. The school will also have some available to students during school time. Pectin is considered a food product, not a medication. Cough drops with menthol or other ingredients must be transported by an adult to the school and not sent on the bus.
Immunization Reminder
The State of Ohio requires all students entering 7th grade to have had an additional Tetanus booster (TDaP) immunization. The Portage Country Health Dept. holds an immunization clinic every Wednesday from 8:30am-11:30am. The cost is $10 per vaccine.

School Board Meetings are the second Monday of each month, at Field High School.
Board members will be available to the public for at least 15 min. prior to the 7:30pm start time.
